ANTHRAX live photos FIRST show with new singer !!!

Went to the Anthrax show last night at the very intimate Double Door in Chicago. This was the first live public appearance by the band with new vocalist Dan Nelson.   Where do I begin ?  I am tired as hell so will post more later. After having been to a few rehearsals and hearing some of the new songs evolve the past few months, i was very eager to hear them and he new lineup live.  The show has been long sold out, with the Double Dooor being a legendary intimate club here in Chicago. The fans were eager to see the band back in action and hear what Dan had to bring, and they were NOT dissapointed.

 The set list included 3 new songs from the cd they are currently working on, with one of them being the show opener. Trust me when I say, it has a very classic, heavy Anthrax sound to it, and Dan has got PIPES ! The set list was as follows:

Fight'em Til You Can't, Random Acts, Got The Time, Caught In A Mosh, Madhouse, Revolution Screams, Rom For One More, Safe Home, What Doesn't Die, Antisocial, Vampyres, Inside Out, and they encored with Indians, Only and I am the Law. Fucking amazing show. The 'THRAX is back, and back with a vengeance ! We ended up hanging out until about 2 or so, and the guys had to head out to catch flights for La, as they are playing two shows with Iron Maiden this week.

Anthrax fans, prepare yourself for a fucking KILLER new album, and the powerhouse vocals of Dan Nelson !
