SHINEDOWN photos from Carnival Of Madness knoxville, Tn show

i just added about 40 photos of my buds in SHINEDOWN to the live photos section of the site. There are currently almost 240 photos of SHINEDOWN here for viewing/purchase from 2006-2010 at several different venues.

The guys melted some faces in Knoxville (Brent's hometown) last night with a high energy powerful set to a sold out crowd. after a lineup of 10 years, Sevendust, Puddle Of Mudd, and Chevelle the fans were ready to be rocked and rocked they were. A very tender moment of the show occured when the band toned down for their cover of the Skynyrd classic Simple Man , Brent made his way to the soundboard and sang the song for the 1st time ever to his mom, dad and grandma. Very beautiful and touching moment.

i plan to hit a couple more shows on this tour in the next few weeks, so check back

I headed to Knoxville last night and photographed some old friends on the Carnival of Madness tour which is 10 years,Sevendust,Puddle Of Mudd,Chevelle and SHinedown. Great sets by all the bands, i plan to photograph this atleast one more time before it ends.

I uploaded a BUNCH of photos from Puddle Of Mudd's performance to the already existing album of photros from 2010 that I shot in June here in nashville. These guys put on a great fun show , full of sing along songs that you know.

Watching Wes bring his young son out onstage to play with him was awesome, that little guy is going to be a rock star, AND have the best stories to tell about his summer vacation when he gets back to school this fall !

Ted Nugent - Motor City Madman hits Nashville-photos posted

The Motor City Madman himself "Uncle Sweaty Teddy TED NUGENT" sold out the world famous Wildhorse Saloon here in nashville last night and was absolutely amazing as ted always is. With his between song rants about governemnt, guns, wome,support for our troops and blessing the good ol' USA, his lighting guitar solos and killer riffs - he mesmerized the crowd.

He opened the show with the Star Bangled Banner into Wango Tango , Free For All to Wang Dang Sweet Poontang, that set the tone for the night, playing new cuts and dazzling the crowd with old favorites and the surprise addition of longtime guitarist and singer Derek St Holmes !!! Together they played favorites such as hey Baby, Stormtroopin, Snakeskin Cowboy,Cat Scratch Fever, Stranglehold and Great White Buffalo.

With Ted, you always know what you are going to get - a kick ass rock and roll show

I was shocked at how many of the songs i knew but did not realize they were POM songs, each and every one of the tunes in the setlist was a HUGE radio hit. Wes knows how to write some catchy songs, thats for sure.

Just added almost 50 new photos of SALIVA from their show here in Nashville last Friday night with Adelitas Way and Puddle Of Mudd. This was the first show at the reopened WIldhorse Saloon that was damaged severely during the flood here last month and was closed for nearly 6 weeks ! Very glad to see them reopened and a packed house just in time for fan fair this week.

had a GREAT night at the reopening of Nashville's legendary Wildhorse Saloon with Saliva and Puddle Of MUdd. Both bands were great and the house was PACKED !! the crowd went nuts - LOTS of alcohol flowing at the Wildhorse tonight @!

I worked for Carvin guitars this evening, proud to ad them to my client list.

Chihuly art exhibit at CHeekwood in Nashville photos coming

went to Cheekwood botanical gardens here in Nashville tonight to see the premier of the CHIHULY blown glass art exhibit. it is VERY cool, and i recommend seeing one of his exhibits if you have the opportunity. I heard about Chihuly on a flight last year from a guy who saw it at the Phoenix gardens a couple eyars back, and have been interested ever since. I saw last week that it was going to be here in NAshville for the summer, and HAD to go out opening night. i will have photos up tomorow, thursdays and fridays, the exhibit is also open at night until 10:30 and is lit up, making for beautiful photos of amazing art.

Heading to see and photograph Lynyrd Skynyrd over the weekend !

R.I.P Paul Gray - yet another friend n brother gone too soon

Very sad news came in around noon today that my friend, and musician Paul Gray -bassist for Slipknot had passed away. Rumors began to fly, text messages coming in as fast as i could answer them, and sadly found out it is true. This marks 4 musicians, 3 of them good friends that have passes in the last 5 months, Jimmy the Rev Sullivan from Avenged Sevenfold, Peter Steele, Ronnie James Dio and now my friend Paul. i am going to miss him as will the rest of the world, his fans and the music community. He was such a fun guy to be around, full of laughter and smiling.

My heart goes out to his wife and unborn child, his family, bandmates and fans around the world.

we will all miss you Paul

Apocalyptica Rocked Nashville May 21, photos now here !

I dont know how i have missed the band Apocalyptica these past years, had no idea there was even a band.... but these 4 guys that bang out Metallica and more on cello's blew me away here friday night with 7 day binge and others.

An album of Halestorm photos from their May 21 performance here in Nashville was just uploaded. They put on a GREAT show, i had not seen them before and was pleasantly surprised, very entertaining live show, great songs and after meeting with the band members after the show, they were all very nice. They will be on tour this summer with Hellyeah/Disturbed/Avenged Sevenfold - check'em out !
